The indoor pool was a serene escape after exploring. Just a heads up, the room I got was smaller than expected, but it didn't take away from my experience at all 😊

Its location within walking distance of a major thoroughfare was unbeatable and super.

The decor was elegant throughout the hotel.
I was misled by the photos of the Mandarin Room, expecting a spacious garden view, but instead received a cramped, noisy room, made sleep nearly impossible. This experience has left me feeling that I overpaid for a lackluster stay and service that didn't live up to the brand's reputation.

They had an electrical problem with the power outlets but they were not capable of fixing it. I couldn't charge any of my phones or iPads. Not acceptable for a hotel of it's standard

Wonderful staff with a great attitude and no snobbery, they go out of their way to help you. Beautiful and creative design that is not overly complicated to use. Fantastic location in barcelona. My only complaint was that the spa and fitness center were not as luxurious as the one in New York.
Spa and fitness not as lux as others.

really good service but limited senior seating
The service was really good. The staff was informed, proactive, and engaged without being intrusive. The dining experiences were nice, offering very nice food quality with an inviting atmosphere. The hallways and public spaces were also elegantly designed as a family.
I noticed a need for more seating areas for seniors, which would enhance accessibility for older guests.

During our stay in the hotel, they were painted walls and practically the entire visit to the hotel was very bad smell in our room. For this level of hotel and price paid for the room this does not seem appropriate. If they already know that there would be maintenance work, they could easily gave us room elsewhere. This is only minus of our stay.

Brand-new, great-sized room with patio. Fantastic location to everything we were planning the next day, and 5 minute walk from fantastical Gaudi-designed apartments. Based not far from the shopping district in Barcelona, the funicular and the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.
